Dear heart,
Traveling as a pastor has its unique joys, and I'd like to share a little slice of my recent adventure with you. You see, whenever I embark on a journey, I make it a point to order a lovely flower bouquet for my room. Now, ladies, take this as a gentle reminder - whether you're at home or traveling, treat yourself to the beauty of flowers; it's a simple yet profound way to brighten your space.
This time, something magical happened. My cherished flower bouquet wasn't confined to my hotel room. It traveled with me throughout my journey, and it was none other than my beloved Auntie! Yes, we're talking about #MyAuntie, and let me tell you, she's not just an aunt; she's more like #HerNiecey.
My time with Auntie was filled with a delightful array of experiences. We had happy hours, indulged in dinner theaters, went on enchanting date nights, discussed business matters, tackled the intricacies of business taxes, delved into our family tree, and explored our family history. It was a journey that encompassed both fun and depth, thanks to the wonderful presence of my aunts.
For me, my aunts are my safe space, my sanctuary when I'm far from home. They provide a sense of calm and connection that's truly priceless. It's more than just a "ride or die" scenario; it's about having a steadfast "Rider" by your side, and in my case, it's Rider Donna.
Donna is the epitome of a true companion on this adventurous ride of life. She'll ride with me through the takeoffs and landings of planes, the journeys by car on winding roads, and the paths we travel in our hearts. #MyRider #RiderDonna
I also want to extend my gratitude to my dear brother Shane Breeze for extending the invitation that made this memorable journey possible. It's experiences like these that remind me of the blessings of having the best of brothers.
I'm here to encourage you, dear readers, to cherish the moments you have with loved ones. Whether it's with family, friends, or kindred spirits, these shared experiences can be awe-inspiring and soul-nourishing.
So, my lovely companions on this journey of life, remember to bring a little beauty into your travels, just like that special bouquet in my heart - my Auntie. Take those opportunities to explore, connect, and cherish the people who light up your path.
With love and blessings,
Pastor D.
