I hosted a prayer walk this morning, as I've been doing for the past 3 weeks, as an offering to God.
As part of today's walk, the ladies requested that we share our testimonies.
I quickly replied that God woke me up this morning!
They clarified...
A testimony for the week.
"He woke me up all week!"
Today has been a day! And this has been a WEEK! You hear me?!
The entire MONTH has been SOMETHING!!! Tuh!
Still!
What more can I say but THANK YOU JESUS??!
You didn't have to wake me up, but you did!
You didn't have to feed me, but you did!
You didn't have to shelter me, but you did!
You didn't have to give me community, but you did!
And though this week (and even TUDAY!!!!!!!!!) tried to press me, YOU, Lord, opted to give me a new day and new LIFE in you.
And...
New Praise!
If you had asked me a few months or weeks ago about things... I would have had much more to say, but a few months ago, I started desiring more and more to be one of those fancy people.
You know the ones who live by the creed, "I won't complain."
Well... whadya know??
Without even consciously considering it this month...
In a week and on a day when there could've been MUCH much lamentation oozing out of me...
Aht Aht!
God has been GOOD to me! Mighty MIGHTY good!
So a praise is whatcha gunna get!
