Greetings, dear heart!
Pastor D here, and today we're taking a spiritual journey that intersects with our annual, or even daily, travels. As I trek God's creation, preaching, teaching, coaching, and becoming, I've come to a profound realization:
Many of us desire to take flight, to explore new horizons, but we often fall short in preparing for the journeys we aim to take in life.
We long for extraordinary experiences, yet we settle for mundane mindsets.
and sidenote...
Can you believe I once found "basic" written on one of my boarding passes?
Oh, the irony! 😂
But let me tell you something:
We are anything but basic!
We've faced trials and tribulations, overcome obstacles, and grown in faith.
In the past year alone, we've soared above challenges, and that should remind us to never settle for mediocrity.
There are incredible places and experiences waiting for us, but our mental attitudes can either unlock or barricade the door to these blessings. You see, you can't go anywhere that your mind hasn't taken you first. To live a first-class life, you need a first-class mentality—a higher version of yourself. It's not about being your best self; it's about becoming your better self.
Daily!
To make such changes, you must first change your mindset, and then take action. It's a two-step dance, dear love. Are you embracing this transformation today? Remember, our state of mind is reflected in our actions.
So, I ask again, how are you BEing today, love?
Are you embracing a first-class mentality, or are you settling for basic?
Don't concern yourself with the table being set if you're not preparing to sit at it, dine at it, and to truly LIVE at it.
Let's elevate, sugar, both in our spiritual mindset and in the way we approach life's adventures. It's time to trade in basic for extraordinary and blah for BEAUTIFUL. As we embark on our journeys, let's travel with the mindset of first-class Christians, always ready to embrace the abundant blessings that God has in store for us.
Blessings await!
